I heard on the way home yesterday that Jim James is going to join Scott Mullins in the studio tomorrow (Thursday) around 4:00pm.  They are supposed to talk about Z and I cannot remember if they said they were going to previewor premier MMJ's new album Z.  Either way it's f'n cool.  You can stream their live broadcasts at the following link.

Sorry if the hyperlink doesn't work.  I have not tried to post one on here before.

Hey, does anyone out there have a radio shark?  I would love to have a good digital recording of this piece as I am sure others on this forum would.

doesnt jim's voice sound fucked up?  it seems he might be the sick one?

tdan

yeah, sounds like his head is a little congested.  Or maybe it just sounds weird because there is no reverb.  ;)

i only caught the tail-end of this. jim did sound a little congested, but everyone i know is sick right now from something. what else was talked about before the parliament, sam cooke, and chuck berry end segment?

EC

work=suck >:(

do you think they'll re-air it?

aMillionDreams

probably not.  I taped it on the good ole cassette deck.  The streaming audio wouldn't work for me, I'm guessing that heavy traffic was messing with their bandwidth.

i was using the high speed winamp feed, and both 'it beats for you' and 'off the record' were playing about half speed, and my connection got cut about 10 times in the 50 minutes i heard, but it would reconnect pretty quickly.   :-/

Prince and De La Soul.  I think that's the full list.  Interesting interview too.
