Hi i'm new to My Morning Jacket and after reading some good reviews i decided to buy Z and what a great purchase it was I really like it. My favourite song on it is What A Wonderful Man and I'm interested in buying another album by My Morning Jacket (I'll eventually get them all) but I was just wondering which album has songs on it that are most similar to What A Wonderful Man. Any help would be greatly appreciated

you need to get "At Dawn" but may have an easier time finding "It Still Moves"  Both are good and I guess the latter would sound most like "what a wondeful man."  enjoy. 8)

I'd suggest you go for the Split EP: Song Ohia.  I think those songs are as close as they have come to 'What a Wonderful Man'.

I would work back - It Still Moves, At Dawn & the Tennessee Fire.

Make sure you fit Acoustic Citsuoca is there somewhere too  :)

I agree with you Dragonboy.  I would go in that exact order.  Although I don't think you will find another MMJ song that sounds like Wonderful Man.  But you will be blown away by their other albums.

Wow - I don't think any of their songs are honestly that similar to 'Wonderful Man,' but that might just be me...

I would just go buy them all - it's going to happen - might as well face it. Make sure you get 'Chocolate and Ice' EP too - the song 'Cobra' is tops in my book! [smiley=rock.gif]
