Just a few fantasies I have:

"Sway" - Rolling Stones (MMJ would absolutely kick ass doing this song live)

"Even the Losers" - Tom Petty (Jim's voice would sound great on this)

"God Only Knows" - Beach Boys (don't laugh, it would be good)

"Powderfinger" - Neil Young (I know, I know, people already say MMJ sounds like Neil Young, but dammit, I think this song would sound great w/ MMJ doing it live)

I don't know why, because I don't really like U2, but I think that I would like to hear MMJ cover some old U2 song.

Man I love that song!
Great choice  :)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Agreed on the Stones.
Rocks Off, Shine A light, Sweet Virginia would rock.
Under My Thumb would be funnny as hell.  [smiley=guitar.gif]

Love the Hartford and Townes call-outs (two of my personal favorite musicians) - anything song by those musicians would be great.

I would love to hear them do The Replacements 'Left of the Dial'

or "I wanna be adored' - Stone Roses.
