Instrument from 10/27/06 Acoustic Set

Does anyone know what the keyboardish instrument that Jim is playing during the KCRW studios acoustic set from 10/27/06 is?  That looks like a fun instrument to play.

thanks.  omnichords and qchords look pretty cool.  from what i can tell, a qchord is an updated omnichord.

has anyone played one?

i think i used to post on here some a couple years ago then i kind of got away from it.  i never really liked the Z songs until i saw the okonokos dvd and now i'm back into mmj music big time.  i went out and re-bought Z and now i have a whole new appreciation for it.  i also think the Z tunes also sound great when jim plays them on the omnichord.
