Hey all, I recently got ahold of a the At Dawn cd version that came along with the demo disc.
Does anyone else have this that can verify that the artwork on the back has a hole punched in it? Is it in a double disc case?
I'm just wondering if I got a cut copy kinda like when they used to punch record sleeves or cut the edge.

Thanks and sorry to post a new topic, I searched with no luck.

I work in radio, and when we get a promotional disc, a hole is usually punched on the back right over the UPC code. That's how my copy of Z is.

Hope that helps.

I don't remember there being a hole.  When I bought mine, the cd and the artwork were the same as at dawn only there was a second disc.  The art of the disc itself was similiar to the regular disc only it said demos on it.  I hope that helps.

I'll scan my copy when i get home to show you guys, it doesn't even have a bar code on it...

what I'm saying is that the demo disc didn't have any artwork with it, it was just kind of put in there with the regular At Dawn artwork and disc.  that's why the lyrics to Chills can  be found in the linear notes to At Dawn even if the copy you bought didn't include the demos disc.

Kory

Yea, I gotcha, it's in a 2 disc case right? I find it funny they made this one a part of the cd so nicely and with the record set, it was just thrown in there...

That's def. a promotional copy (as Meg said).  I work part time at a music store and that's how all the promos are marked when they arrive.

Kory

Thanks red, I thought that might be the case, oh well, it's still the set I wanted to get ahold of, promo or not.

Your post reminded me that I was watching that in my ebay.  The description had a catalog number, which I googled (because I have an obsessive / compulsive google complex, and can't help but google everything), which led me to the Darla site.

Enjoy!
