does anybody know if they still play that at shows anymore? or have they recently? I heard the live version on bonnaroo 04 and it was pretty amazing sounding live.

I don't believe they do, but who knows maybe they will mix it in some time in the near future.

The bonnaroo 04 version is killer though followed by At Dawn and closing the set with Steam Engine, what an incredible show that must have been.

NYE 2006/2007 was the last time I remember them playing it.

I would post a link to Archive, but that night appears to be gone?

Ive got an EVIL plan babe

Just cause it starts off slow babe, doesn't mean I  don't have evil urges.

Nice...a Cobra appreciation thread of sorts. I've seen it quite a few times and it's always welcome. Damn, these guys are good!

The 'Roo '04 set was absolutely rad. "Drinking cold, cold lightening" as the thunder and lightening was crackin'. My, oh my. Best show of my life.

rocked it out at langerado 07..."how do you live without a lovers touch?"

i was lucky enough to be at the roo 04 show, which in turn turned me on to Cobra.  it's def one of my favorite songs cuz it changes so much.

check this out...i ran into Carl Broemel at Essex in NYC during brunch the day after the Radio City Music Hall show. after talkin to him a bit about the show and about the upcoming nashville to kentucky shows (and getting a quick snapshot with him) i had to request Cobra for the Louisville show.  he was fairly reluctant and was kinda passive about it, but said he'd see what he could do.

then, during the 2nd set at Looeyville, it came....

I've never been lucky enough to hear cobra live...but in my imagination everyone breaks out the dance moves when they decide to play it.  It seems like a great song to dance to.

StayClassy

I listen to this before I go to work alot, and than I always feel bad that I can't finish it before I get there, as my commute is only about 10 min.

I feel blessed to have heard cobra in austin!
One good thing about music: when it hits you feel no pain.
