Just learned about this show, here in Nashville, New Years Eve:

Bobby Bare Jr's Young Criminals' Starvation League at The Basement, Saturday December 31, 9PM, $17

Bobby just informed us that in addition to his regular crack band, Carl Broemel has joined the line-up for this special New Year's Eve show.  Carl normally plays in My Morning Jacket but since his regular band has had to cancel its current gigs due to Jim James' pneumonia, Carl has joined in with his buddy Bobby.  Should be a great show!

Sounds like fun! I loved BBJ when he opened for MMJ last year in Nashville.
The Basement is a cool place too.  :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the show was canceled, due to Jim being sick.   :'(
All who wonder are not lost.

The whole band were going to perform at Madison Square Gardens. That was cancelled. This was Carl performing without the rest of the band.
