"Dear God" is a Jim song... sounds like Curtis Mayfield wrote this one from the grave.

"The Sandman..." is an M. Ward song, sounds like an M. Ward song. Lots of echo-ey guitars and good harmonies in the chorus.
The wind blew me back, via Chicago, in the middle of the night.

Dear God has gotz da hot beats! The harp is def a nod to Curtis.

The Sandman sounds great in an old timey way.

Looking forward to this album!

All three of them are singing at various times.  They do have very similar sounding voices at certain times.
Oh I thought I heard mostly connor  :(

Conor is definitely singing lead on that with the others doing backup vocals.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

Jesus Christ, all 3 of these songs kick ass. I am fully convinced this is going to be the best album ever.

Yeah, all three tracks so far are crazy good!  I wonder how the album will flow considering the contrast the 3 offer.

Love the beats on Dear God but man do I love the Sandman, Brakeman and Me.

So I knew that it would be only the 4 on this album but does it seem like there is some female backing vocals on Sandman or is that Jim in his falsetto with some ole 'verb?

are these 3 songs the exact versions that will be on the album?

The Sandman, The Brakeman, and Me is beautiful! That song makes this whole collaboration worth it... even if the rest of the album is terrible.

I've listened to it at least 15 times.

Your already judging one day after three songs from the album are released? :-/

I was going to wait but I didn't last long.   ;DI couldn't help it.

I love how they each sound like a particular member's songs yet all three of them work together to take the song to the next level.   Sandman, Brakeman and Me is fucking dreamy!  And Dear God?  HOly crap is that song gonna grow like a beast!  That's the MONSTER!! [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Ruckus

With such diversity exemplified in the 1st three songs, I feel like a regular full length wouldn't do their creativity justice and would come of as somewhat disjointed.

A nice 3 album release is what I expect.  Just sayin'

I'll ask again.  Is that Jim with reverb in his falsetto backing on Brakeman or a female vocalist?  I'm assuming the former.
