Definitely unplanned. Serendipitous is probably a better description.  the fireworks were for the Titans preseason game that just finished across the river, it just so happened to perfectly coincide with the solo to war begun.  I didn't think War Begun got any better than 10.27.00 until I saw that.  It was perfect!

Serendipitous is a fine descriptor indeed.  It was seriously magical.  And the part you don't see - that guy that climbed the rafters didn't even get tossed!  The bodyguard just placed him nicely back in the crowd  ;D  Not the best sound quality but still pretty solid, so danz listen to that whole show when you get the chance.
