music can be so personal. it can create emotions and vivid memories like nothing else, at times. and really isn't that the beauty of it all.

so, to say that a band is overrated you are, in a sense, letting others' personal opinions and feelings about that band influence your personal feelings about that band.

don't let others determine what you like and don't like in musical tastes... unless you are into that...
