The San Diego show WAS fantastic. A great start to a new tour. This should really start a whole new 'bzzzz' about MMJ. Too bad every two-bit punk will find out how great they have been all along, but that's what happens. Oh well. M Ward was GREAT! With MMJ backing him up as an opener, it was a heaping helping of delight. What a great show!

The Portland show should also be super at the Crystal Ballroom and will be supported by a delightful collector poster that will be available for sale to any interested parties from my website www.guyburwell.com in a few days, just around the time of the show. A four color screenprint about 10x23 inches. Signed and numbered from an edition of about 200 or so. (See it on this site in the gallery/flyer art section along with an earlier poster from last year two spots over) The band didn't want a countrified image for some recent graphics so we went space age and retained the lonely and vast scenic scopes that fill MMJ music.

Enjoy all the shows. If you are in the Seattle area for Bumbershoot 2004, make sure to stop by the Flatstock Poster Congregation where you'll see poster artists from around the world and will surely find MMJ show posters from all the tour dates, amongst all your other faves.

Hi Guy(s) and Gals,

Guy, it was great to meet you at Bumbershoot 2003.  I'm glad to hear they're bringing back Flatstock for 2004.  Any chance the poster for the Portland show will be available at the show?

They MIGHT have them for sale at the show, but you should see them all over town. I will have some in Seattle. Check in at Jackpot on Burnside for a copy maybe. Or email me after the show if you don't get one.
