I've got a question for anybody who's been to a previous Bonnaroo. How's the crowd? I knwo that a place like this is probably goign to have a lot weed and drinking going on, but is it the kind of place where you'll be high by the end of the day just form walkin around, or do you have to go looking for it? I'm not really looking to go to get high, I just want to go for the awesome music. And I'm trying to convince my mother (yes, I'm only seventeen... :-[ ) to let me go. She's pretty cool about stuff like this, but I think she's a little worried for me. Will I be fine?

Yeah, you'll be fine.  you'll only get high if you intend to get high.  Basically if you want drugs, they are there...trust me.  But you'll be fine if you just chill and watch music.  Everyone there is really cool...very chill crowd.  So have fun!

Same situation I was in.

Luckily my dad gave me the okay, but my asshole friends wouldn't dish out 140 bucks. So I'm driving to Manchester from Bowling Green alone. I've only had my license since November but it should be fine. And like yourself, I am there for the music, I actually want to remember seeing MMJ and The Mars Volta, not waking up face down in the grass.

dude, if you want, we should hook up while we're there. I'll eb there with my friends, and you'd probably be more than welcome to hang.
