Awesome show...I really like the new songs...and the Maestro bit is really cool.I was really impressed by their sound this time,versus the last time I saw them...much better.Ziggy's is a bar and it has a canvas of some sort over it...I kept wonderin' if it rained would it leak.Well sometime around the last 2 songs it started pouring raining and their were some leaks here and there.Near the end of Mahgeetah,the power went out in the whole building...but came right back on...and the boys didn't miss a beat...they finished the song...something about thunderstorms with these guys.
Prizes I came away with:
The LP version of Acoustic Citsuoca with the extra track and 1 bumper sticker.

And while we were in the parking lot waiting for the boys to come on,we were getting our head gear on and I looked up and saw this guy walking across the street in front of our vehicle....I noticed he looked a lot like Jim James...I then realized it was Jim James...he said he was hungry and going to the resturant for something to eat...he seemed in a hurry so we didn't bother him,but it was cool that no one seemed to recognize him but us.

And that's all I got right now...I am very tired...they didn't come on till 10:15...and quit around 11:30...so I gotta go to work in the morning...

Thanks for posting that setlist, Jellyfish.

Oh yeah - they rocked the house (tent?) last night!!!  You all are going to be so thrilled with the new songs and the new show.  Wow I've missed them more than I thought.  Can't wait until Wednesday night.  If at all possible, do not miss these guys in these smaller spaces.  What a band.

I hear there are suppose to be thunderstorms at Bonaroo again this year, at least they said there is a 60% chance of it.  I'm not sure that that's a good thing or a bad thing.  Sounds like a great show!

Man, I JUST said that yesterday.  We crossed the border into NC, and soon afterwards this big black clouds rolled in, and I said "Jen, I believe My Morning Jacket has just entered North Carolina."  Not that I know if they did or not.  Actually, we were just crossing over Asheville at the time.  :)

Yes it is a new song,at least I have never heard it before.I like Lay Low best of the 3 new ones they played.It was a rocking number,not acoustic.I got your PM Brian,thanks. ;)

WOW!  Better than "off the record" and "don dante" I can't wait to hear this one.  I can't get enough of "off the record" it gets better everytime I hear it.

Jellyfish, did you see anyone tape this show?  I'm being greedy but I would like to have recordings of each show on this mini tour.  This was the only show they played "Steam Engine" and they opened with it at that.  I think it's one of those songs that would work awesome as both an opener and a closer.  My Favorite Song.  Anyway, if anyone knows of a recording of this show please let us know, I'll trade.  Thanks,

Yeah,the Steam Engine opener really got to me..I wasn't prepared for it and when he sang the first few notes,I went into a state of euphoria. I don't remember a show that he opened with that SE.I didn't see anyone taping this show and would love to have it myself.I'll keep my eyes open.  ;)
