YES.  This is exactly what is great about MMJ fans, the sense that "holy shit, let's get a drink (or 3) before the show together, wouldn't that be awesome" feeling.  It's like communing with the larger sphere of influence that is this MMJ universe.

Hell yeah.  Y'all should definitely hang together in your respective cities before shows.  It's great to meet folks and put faces to names from here and just to share stories and whatnot.  I highly recommend it!  8)

I think that all the fans will by psychically connected, though.  When we know for sure what the order is, I recommend those fans that can't be there decide to stay in that night with some beer or your beverage of choice, sit back, open your mind, and allow our telepathic signals to enter your brain.  :)  Just be sure to wear a raincoat, just in case... ;)

hey everyone,

im driving down from ohio tomorrow and will be in asheville about 6pm, id guess.  ive been lurking a little while and dont know anyone, but id love to meet up pre show and enjoy any festivities at all.  i also have an extra ticket to the show since my dad(!) wont be able to make it.  i dont think its sold out, but it would help me out if i could get rid of it.  PM me or ill check again before i leave and put out my cell number to give me a ring if anyone needs it.

Yeah, we hung out with he and his wife in Athens, they were cool as hell.  Good People.  What's wierd is we were wearing the exact same Lynard Skynard T-shirt the next night in Athens.  Actually no that last part didn't happen but he said he would have been really freaked out if it had.

can't wait!!!!  how was last night?  anticipation is at all time high for those new songs!!  I'll be in a white super furry animals shirt and not sure what the mrs. will be wearing but we'd love to meet and talk with all of you that are going...last time they played the Peel, my band was lucky enough to share the stage.  wish it could've happened again, they never fail to entertain and impress.  we'll probably get a good audience recording, but we can talk about all that after the show.  see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I was driving home from downtown Asheville about an hour ago to get ready for the show, and I saw Jim walking around outside the orange peel.  So I was all like, "Jim James!  WOOOO!" and he looked over and waved....yeah...just thought I'd share that.  Anyway, I'm off to the rock show...see ya'll there!

On a side note, I think I got pegged in the head with the conductors wand.  All I know is I felt something like a stick hit me in the side of the head and when I looked up the conductor didn't have his stick anymore he was just waveing his hands.  It was great meeting some more new people and putting faces to names.  This band has the best fans you could ever ask for and I'm proud to call myself one.  Great Show, Awesome Ceailing Fan, The Hellsayers Rock.  No smoking in the Orange Peel so we passed around cigaretts like joints.
