if anyone has a recording of the show i would be extremely interested as well. just give me a shout here. obviously my name is Ryan and you can adress me as such. i'd really love to get my hands on a recording of "off the record" specifically; that song really blew me away. i'm also fond of throwing TV / movie themes into songs like that...i like to randomly insert a "mission impossible" or "james bond theme" into songs that i perform with my band.

Doesn't this conductor guy block the view of the band? I think I'd get fed up with him after a while.

I think I'm already fed up with hin and I haven't seen him yet.  Maybe I'm passing judgement a little too quick but all this conductor stuff seems pretty silly.  I wonder if they'll start rocking out on 'Somebody Cares About the Maestro'  :-/

Seriously,I kinda liked it and he did not block the view of the band because Jim is standing to his right and Tommy and Carl to his left.He stands in the middle front.

If you look closely Patrick and I are in the same position so I probably was playin air drums at that point.  Don't worry the head nods were also in full effect.   ;D
