My landscaper in me says he's holding a machete, not a sword.

QuoteYeah, I want to be Mr. T.  Who do you want to be Meg.  Dith and Chills are going to be pissed when they wake up and find out they're stuck with Face and Murrdock.

That guy at the back looks a bit off the wall. I'll be him  :D

sweatboard

That would be Murdock.

Yeah, you can totally be him, dith.  He's allll yours.  :)

It's a long time since I've seen this programme, is Murdock a bit of a dipstick then?

Yeah, Murdock is the funny crazy one.
You're lucky, I'm stuck with Face, the master of disguise. Thank's a lot guys!
Look at the silly gun (I think it's a gun) he's holding in his right hand....
As opposed to the giant "units" of the other members.
that's embarrassing.

That's just him being modest. He's got a much bigger unit in his holster  ;)

You guys go ahead and think whatever you want.  Brian's got a machete, and I get a cigar.  And we'll believe your hidden secret awesome weapons when we see them.

;)

Oh, Meg and I are together. And I'll be sure to find out who John Tesh is very soon.

And Chills, try this:

Ok.
I can go, and my brother and a friend want
to go along! So far, so good.

Still a problem. This ticketmaster site seemingly only sends tickets to the UK for the solo show.
No international possibilities and no possibility to pick 'em up at the venue. At least I didn't find it.
I hope I'll be able to order by just calling them...

For the Scala show, there's the option to send the tickets overseas or a venue pick-up. I'd like to have some tickets in my hand before leaving to London, but just picking them up at the venue might be considerably cheaper.

I promised I'd organize everything ::) so I can't fuck up!

Might try to settle this tonight or tomorrow.
Any advice by more experienced travellers and ticket buyers is welcome.

I had a similar problem when I was trying to get tickets for the Alabama show - I live in Canada.  Ticketmaster online wouldn't let me order tickets, and then ticketmaster canada wouldn't let me do it either, so I ended up having to phone them, and picked up the tickets when I got there.

I always hate not having tickets in my hand, either.  Because you get nervous that they won't be there when you arrive, and then what the hell do you do, etc.  However, I've also generally found that if you make a big enough stink, they'll just let you in.  Either that or just pretend you're important.  Wear a suit.  ;)

I'm really glad you've got peeps who'll join you.  I think you'll have a wonderous time.  (I woke up to Lil Billy in my head, and the recording I have begins with Jim calling the audience "truly wonderous")

Anyhow, yeah, I'd call the venues and see if they can help you out.  Usually, if they're not retarded, they'll have something in place for out of town guests.  :)

Chills

Thanks EC.
Nice to hear I'm not the only one who gets nervous over this kind of stuff!
I'll just call enough to make sure the tickets are there, although I'll probably stay nervous untill I have them in my hands... Can't help it.

And yeah, I have that recording too! It's the way he's says it that sounds so cool to me. I love that.
Also that's why I like the word "awesome" so much. Pronounced southern style.
It's the famous drawl isn't it?

EC

Yeah, but I was amazed at how people in Kentucky didn't sound like I expected (wanted) them to.  The accent in Louisville is pretty tame.

Alabama, however...  ;)

Now playing: Jackson by Johnny Cash and June Carter.
She sounds pretty southern too, it's great.

I love listening to them sing together.  She played the autoharp...  I actually have a big girlcrush on June.  And I loved reading Johnny talk about her in his autobiography.
