I'm really looking forward to the upcoming show here in town. I wish you were playing another venue besides Blow-gart's, but just getting a chance to see the band (AND Kathleen Edwards!) in a venue of that size will be a great time (not including the Gestapo routine at the door). Hopefully they'll treat the talent better than they do the patrons.

Sorry... my intention here was NOT to come off with a sour note. I really AM looking forward to the show!

headliner's would win easily, more intimate, better sound, nicer staff, more aesthetically pleasing...

I am thinking about going to the Bogart's show. In what degree does it sucketh and how doth it sucketh?

the staff there are the worst bunch of fucks in the world.  dont even try to stay at all after the show inside the venue to talk to the band.  youll be hoarded near the exit/entrance and only allowed to stay a limited amount of time, only if youre purchasing merchandise.  they wont serve drinks after the show is over either.  all this, plus its in the middle of the wonderful section of cincy called over-the-rhine which is the most ghetto fabulous.  on a positive note, sudsy malone's is across the street.  you can listen to a live show or just have a drink, and do your laundry at the same time.  check it out.

headliners for sure.  If you're going to Bogarts, seriously don't wander off the main roads.  I got jumped there after a show one time, it wasn't fun.

seriously, do NOT bring that FREE CRACK sign to bogarts.  you dont wanna know the reaction it will cause from the locals who live around the club.  sure it will look like youve made lots of friends at first, but then...
