I am so excited to see mmj here in phoenix although i am a little nervous about the show.  I have lived in phx now for about 4 years and frankly the live music scene here sucks.  I mean im from austin tx and that is where i first saw mmj. It was a magical show and now i am a stark raving mad mmj suporter.  I am bringing 3 other people to the show who have never seen mmj.  It is hard to predict how the show will be at the marquee theater but i hope the crowd will be hard core music lovers not oc scenesters that is what a something corperate concert is for.  Is anyone else in phx excited about the show. Also what would be the odds of hearing sooner, bermuda highway, dancefloors, or hopefully?  If anyone wants to know we are having a pre mmj party at my house email me if interested at tripingbillies26@yahoo.com.

I, like yourself, am very excited to see mmj at the marquee on tuesday.  Thankfully the Marquee is a pretty good venue in terms of seeing a live show there. Also of note Saul Williams is opening for mmj....sweet.

there's a darn good chance on Sooner, and Dancefloors probably won't happen, but Lowdown might.
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

SO excited about phoenix.

Wish we had a decent indie radio station here.

Our theoretical indie station is more undie, I'd say.
101 point whatever can kiss my  tuna achi.

I do so miss FPK.

Are there any Phoenix folks in the buddy system out there to help spread the word?
I know that the ASU music store has been doing a lil' bit'o' promo-- seems each time I wander in I'm greeted by Mr. James' voice.  A lil' bit o kismet/coincidence.

And I hear the songs elsewhere around town occasionally too,, but I don't know if the awareness here is what it should be.

But, I know that in inny case, they will ROCK

Friggin blargh! Don't know waht else to say but

awww yeeuh.
I can't WAIT!

It's on!

But I'm a lil sad after seeing the Filmore setlists.  Reminds me when I saw Wilco in Flagstaff, and a couple of weeks later they were filming Kicking Television in Chicago, with an unbelievably never-ending setlist.  Missin out on the uber goods!

*jealous*

*but excited*
