Quotesomeone just put up a show from the Rud in 2000.  I'm pretty sure that that is the legendary show where Tommy smashed his brand new bass to pieces and generally went nuts.  I didn't even know that recording existed.  WOW!

So does that mean it's in the process of going up, then?  I can't wait for that one.

This one's up now too.  Thanks whoever put this up there.  There are so many shows from that time period that are being hoarded, today one became unearthed.  It sounds very good, too, may be a soundboard recording.  The song titled "unknown" is 'Lil Billy'.

Hi all,
I heard ya'll were talking about the shows I uploaded to the archive last week, so I thought I'd drop in and say howdy. Unfortunately, those are the only shows I have that weren't already on the archive.
I also can't take credit for the shows coming out of hiding, I downloaded them from the furthur network, and figured they should have a permanent home. All I get credit for is deleting enough music to make room for them on my hard drive until I could get them on the Llama. Rest assured that whenever I see something that's not up there I'll be sure to upload it.  Also, I'll be back in Louisville for the holidays with a bunch of other guys that went to high school with Jim, so I'll ask around about anymore hidden gems from the early days.

Thanks marcus!
I spoke with the taper of those 2 shows you upped, he has a couple more but has to find them, 2000ish shows he believes.
Anyway, there's a heads up and thanks for helping the cause!
Stay in touch around here!

is that the one where they played Touch Too Much with Tommy sitting out on the bass amp rolling a cigarette?
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.
