Thanks, both of you.  I LOVE the Internet Archive, and the more MMJ is represented, the better!

Yeh, that was excruciating.   I had fairly good luck as far as not standing near too many idiots, but I guess this clown
moved up fairly late and was four people to my left!    I  mean, here the band is well into Oxen and he's still yelling for The Bear!    Dumbass doesn't think 1) he can't possibly
hear me, and 2) even if he heard me, what's he going to do?
Jim will stop with Oxen and say "Oh wait, someone asked for The Bear, let's stop this song we've played 30 seconds of
and start playing The Bear!"?   Anyway, I guess it's just the reality, I know it is.   There's that old Twilight Zone called "People are Alike All Over" - some humans are on a planet and they're fed and befriended by the inhabitants of this planet and at the end they realize that they're just like us - just as we put animals in cages at zoos, these people from Earth are put on display for the amusement of others!
That's a major digression, but "people are alike all over" at
MMJ shows, any show....overexuberant, loud, obnoxious, drunk, or all of the above.   They don't consciously realize (usually, at least) that the others are trying to listen to what's
going on.   And when it's MMJ, man - come on, as someone
yelled out at the March 21, 2002 show, "Shut your HOLE!" -
ironically, that was during The Bear, I think!
Anyway, I realize that I'm preaching to the choir here.
Glad that the recording turned out okay.   My stuff is usually
a decent-sounding show but should only be used if no DAT
tapers' recordings see the light of day.    I was hoping to get a better sounding recording of this show, and I believe that someone in Dallas saw another taper and brought it up here?    Anyway, I need to work on finding some things that I already told you guys about.    Thanks to Kory for putting this up and "peace to all you beautiful creatures" (Jim, '02)
