mr. james,

being that you performed all over this weekend, could you maybe drop us some insights into your next move while still here?

i wouldn't mind seeing a performance in the subway (off the R train maybe) ala the Amsterdam video from way back; there's great reverb up here in the tunnels.  just give me the time and the place.

anyone have that older documentary film by the way?

corywaring,

that's a good question that i can only speculate on.  all i can say accurately is it was available in chopped up streaming segments through real player format approximately 4 years ago.  and i found it on this website.  :'(

other than that, i must comment that it was damn good, inspiring and timeless.  and if you haven't heard their version of tyrone, i recommend obtaining it.  there you will find some of the most brilliant geetah interplay i've heard from quaid & james.

taking this conversation a step further, now that i think of it, the dutch must possess some of the most tasteful  and prophetic musical experts around, being that they foresaw these guys' brilliance as far back as the tennessee fire days.

i suppose this begs the question, "what is currently in their dutch cd players and zen micros now?"  if someone has a legitimate answer than maybe i'll start to buy in to all that "the world is flat" nonsense that banal economists continue to profit off in their best selling books.
