Well, it was definitely worth the wait....

What a fucking band - just as good as the Academy 3 in 2003. That voice, that voice...

Please please please don't let it be another 3 years

Glad it was worth the wait  :D
I'm seeing them tomorrow (I may have mentioned that a few times today  ;) )
Did the new stuff go down well?

DiamondDays

Yeah - I think there were quite a few new converts who were only familiar with Z. 'Gideon' went down a storm, as it jolly well should.

Somewhat predictably, it was 'Mahgeetah' and 'Golden' that really did it for me though.

Elbow were there en masse and seemed to be having a good time. Last gig I saw Guy Garvey at was Josh Pearson - the man certainly has taste!

Hope you have a good time tonight - sure you will

How cool are they? I shall have to dig an Elbow CD out tomorrow...
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Elbow in the house. Tres Bien! Glad you had a great time DiamondDays. Good Doctor have a BLAST Tonight!  :D

It was the Doves in mass..not Elbow...well maybe Elbow were there but i did'nt see em ;)

Angie

Yes I saw Doves too... not surprising really as MMJ supported Doves 3 years ago....  Not as long a set as in November 2003 but still as good.

It Still Comes!   LOL ;D

Isn't that a Keith Richards solo album?

Also, is it noodling? Or is it a well thought out, richly layered, technical, mind melting, other wordly jam session?
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.
