did anybody go to this?

setlist?

was it on the AT&T Blue Room for listen?
If you're lucky, MMJ will fill the void you didn't even know you ever had. If you're luckier, you'll get to see them live.

I was at Vegoose... Jim and Carl were the highlight, at least for me... sorry I don't have a playlist...but they played quite an eclectic mix of songs from all of their CDs... not too many people there because some bigger names were playing, so it was really nice and intimate... sound was really good.

Dee.

Welcome, Katie, glad to hear it. :)

It wasn't on the Blue Room, nope.

(But Built to Spill was, yay!)

I'm not sure about the order, but here's what they played:

Tonight I Want to Celebrate With You
OId September Blues
Dancefloors
Butch Cassidy
The Way That He Sings
Gideon
Golden
Evelyn Is Not Real
Hopefully
I Will Be There When You Die
Bermuda Highway
Nashville to Kentucky
Just One Thing
I Needed It Most
The Bear
What a Wonderful Man
Wordless Chorus

There were about four or five jack o'lanterns on the front of the stage. After playing, Jim and Carl then proceeded to smash them with an ax and a sledgehammer, respectively.

I am tired of Flava Flav.

Beautiful review AND smashing pumpkins video!

Ahhhhh  LOL Yes!
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

You guys are going to shit yourselves when I upload the videos my girlfriend and I got of Jim at Vegoose.  I need to get her camera over here and let them loose.  I talked to a guy earlier taping Built To Spill saying that he was going to try to get Jim, so I pray that he did.  I'm going to email him about that in a little while.  Seriously, these videos sound perfect....here are the songs we got:
Tonight I Want To Celebrate With You
Gideon
Golden
Dancefloors
The Bear (cut into two parts)
Hopefully
The Way That He Sings
I Needed It Most (this sounds the best of all)
Wordless Chorus (snippet)
I Will Be There When You Die (snippet)
Nashville To Kentucky (snippet)
Evelyn Is Not Real (can't remember how  much we got of this)

And we had Old September Blues, which sounded beautiful, but he started playing I Will Be There When You Die and she deleted one of them to make room for some of it.  Just happened to be OSB.  Oh, and there were some people singing loudly right next to us on some songs, so that got picked up, but it's more comical that distracting.  People were really into this show.

I'm going to put these on YouTube as soon as I can and will probably make a post in the General forum, because I think everyone needs to see these.  I'm pretty excited.

Hell yeah, Fawn.

Can't wait to see them.  If they're as good as you say they are, I shall be one happy man.

"Thus began the greatest show of the entire festival, an acoustic set from Jim James of My Morning Jacket. "...

Jim James (of My Morning Jacket) - Biggest unexpected treat of the festival. I like his band but didn't know he'd be so cool solo, not to mention the fact that it was not budgeted in my schedule. MMJ in its entirety is playing Roseland on Nov 30th, going to buy tickets at Irving Plaza box office to avoid Ticketmaster fees as soon as I can get myself to get there before 630pm closing time. Totally wicked awesome, and it was the one show I saw in the small tent (nice and intimate)

why has this show not surfaced yet?  did anyone at the show spot any tapers?
