Dallas (Friday show)

I just got my tix today! This will be my second show, and first time to Dallas since The Crossroads Guitar Fest. It would be cool to hang with some of you guys before or after the show, someone hit me back to try to make this happen.

Are you all specifically talking about meeting up on Friday or are some of ya'll going on Thurs.

Also I'm up for whatever, but Adairs is also a pretty cool bar/honkey tonk.

Hey dudes.......I need a Friday ticket. I've slacked and keep forgetting to get it, but now they're sold out. You think Good Records has any left?

Does anyone have an extra for me to buy? I live in Dallas.

Ahh..It feels like yesterday I was waiting for the
Dallas show to roll around..Ill be hitting up the
Thurs/Friday shows myself. Def! will be getting there early,
last year we showed up around 9:30 and IT WAS PACKED!!

Wanted to go to the Austin show but alas have to leave town
for the thanksgiving holiday..oh well..I will be make sure to get
my fill in Dallas..by the way..the print for the Dallas 17th show
is up on Steve Smothers site if anyone wanted to get that out of the way before the show.. ;) ;D

It's sometimes pretty hard to get a drink at the Gypsy. Also, I wouldn't try and illegal activities in there - they have that place on lockdown pretty hard. This includes picture taking, bringing in a flask, or puffing.

Also, Sol's and Adair's are great. Definitely reccomend either of those two for pre-show eats and drinks.

agreed..although..funny thing is..Ive only tried to "sneak" in a bottle to one show at the Tea Room and that was the
MMJ show last year..no problems..but yeah..If you are parked up front..it will be a journey to get to the bar and back..thats
if you can make it...

I just got back from Austin, and I can verify that the city is still there. Everything is a GO.

that's a sam adams if i remember correctly. Plans have changed and will only be at the thurs. show. But will be making the trip to Austin as well. I'll get a hold of you before the show and square up with you. ;)

does anyone know how will call works at gypsy tea room? do i get in the same line as everyone else or does will call have a separate window?
im trying to figure out my gameplan so i can get there early to get a good spot in front.

No there are two lines. One is for will call, but nobody seems to know what line they are standing in. But it doesn't take to long to figure out. Bring your id (obviously), but I don't think they make you show the credit card used to purchase.
