Wax Fang NYE opener

so was anyone else as blown away by Wax Fang as I was?

they were dressed in cheerleader outfits and full makeup, and delivered some epic rock.  I love the guy's voice, and the drummer was going nuts.  My favorite part was when the guitarist took his beer and just started pushing the bottom of the bottle into the strings.  it sounded awesome, but not in a gimmicky way.  I can't wait to see em again.

I'm watching Life Aquatic right NOW........and YES I LOVED Wax Fang.  If you search "Wax Fang" on here I think there are three or four threads about them.

i Loved them! they were so funny and entertaining !  MMJ has been bringing some good openers lately.  in 05 i didn't like them so much...

I really enjoyed them. They looked like they were having a blast. There was a part when the guitarist was holding a note on the guitar and he grabbed his beer and was drinking the beer for the whole note. That might have been before he used the bottle on the strings. They were definitely fun. I would go see them again for sure!

during mmj's set they were up in the balcony dancing and singing.  and they stayed in those outfits ALL night.  that is committment.   :D
