Nice, you can just belly up to the AT&T stage at 4 pm and see KOL, MMJ and PJ all in a row!

I was just in Chicago at Grant Park for the Blues Fest and they did shut it down at 10 every night.  I know it's not exactly the same, but I wouldn't count on any late night music.  However, this city doesn't shut down, so I would look for some good clubs to go to after the Pallooza is over.

The park and the stage with city in the background is a spectacular environment.  Wish I was going......

I'm loving it!! I only wish Iggy and the Stooges was going on an hour earlier! I'm not that huge of a fan or anything but he is a legend.
i kinda think right now is a pretty good time to just sit down and sing people some mother-fuckin songs

Right!?! Stooges or KOL?  It's killing me already to make that decision. :-/


I am a much bigger KOL fan, but I would maybe consider seeing the Stooges.  There won't be as many chances in the future, and I bet they put a bit more heart and soul into their show than the KOL do.

I guess I'm thinking of it as a "Chicago" thing, and if you spend your entire trip at the festival than it really doesn't apply, so nevermind. :)

Most of the trip will be the festival, but I think we're planning on checking out a bit o' nightlife as well.  We're going to bring a lot of food with us, but I'm sure we'll hit at least  a couple of restaurants too.  Festivals are generally expernsive as are big cities...it's always good to recieve travel tips! :)
