Ed ended the night on Rodman's shoulders....you know it was a good show.
;D

Good political night for PJ...railing against BP/Aamaco, getting censored during Daughter for saying something about Bush during the Floyd tag and bringing the Vet on stage to play "No More" with Ben Harper.

bigeazyfish

yeah...the censoring after the bush comment was BS

QuoteWhy don't Pearl Jam write their own anthem to close their shows with?
Big PJ fan...I think part of it is that they owe their career to so many other people.  Ed mentioned all the other bands a few times, and they always treat their openers well.

They never really were an opening band for anyone, just hit it off, right place at the right time and took off.  That's obviously a testament and tribute to their work with Neil, and sends their point of politics across as well.

That was not a night to end on Ledbetter.

;)

I was almost like a Hold Steady show, bringing everyone up on stage at the end.

;D

Big PJ fan too (saw them play their debut UK show soon after 10 was released)

I knew when I wrote that that it would get a few people's backs up  ;)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Very nice.
:D
It was great to get Alive and RVM in there too...Alive has all the meaning intertwined with the people who died in 2000...so I love to hear that one, and they'll close with it every once in a while.

Hope we get a MMJ boot or something soon to hold us over.

War End

Was very pissed off they didn't air MMJ  >:( but Kings of Leon were tight!!!!
