ACL Roll Call...

Hey guys,

Just wanted to see who's gonna be at ACL for the Jacket show. The only forum member I've met is Corey at Langerado this year (what's up dude) and I'd love to watch the show with some other folks that are in the exclusive club of serious MMJ fandom. Let's catch sound tribe too cause they'll be fresh from the red rocks shows and we should get some good songs.  plus, we'll have plenty of time to set up camp at Jim's feet afterward. Who's coming with me?

I'm pumped there will be girls there. Every serious Jacket fan I meet is always a dude. and that's cool, because i fall within that same demographic, but it gets old. I'm thinking about signing up for MMJ-Date to find that special someone  ;D

i am really coming all the way from canada.  i'll be in tx for a while, though.  we've wanted to come to austin and a few other places down there for a while, and it made sense to book it around THE ROCK SHOWWWWWW.

that's great. i guess i can't bitch about the drive from Mississippi now!  I'm trying to convince my buddy to come with me to lollapalooza for sunday to see them.  It's like 10 hours, but I haven't seen the guys since March and that's too long.

Me and my husband will be there, along with 2 others from here and 5 more from SF.  A reunion of sorts for those I was with at NYE (we are missing a few peeps).  Ms. Yvon, I look forward to meeting up for a beer.

Hey stickey...we will be camping out up front too!  We will be seeing Wilco here in August, so no need to see them at ACL if it means I can get a close spot.

Very nice. We were about 5 rows back the last time I saw them and it was sooooooo worth the wait.  I'm so excited. September can't come soon enough!

haha thanks wiz. i'm sure they'd be pleased to hear you want to hook them up with a stranger from the internet!!!  but i do have to say, knowing that someone is a serious MMJ fan makes it VERY hard for me not to like them.  Tell them I'm well-mannered, I can grow a solid beard, and I value personal hygeine.  That about sums me up...well, obsessed MMJ fan is probably just as accurate

funny!...the ladies I know need no help.  Just letting you know that there are plenty of of qualitiy MMJ fans out there (of the female persuasion). And they will be out in front with me at ACL.  Truly, the rest is up to you  ;)

oh Wizz that's too much pressure!  Here's a little known fact about me though: the female persuasion is pretty much my all time favorite persuasion.  I even know a couple personally, as evidenced by this photo (notice the mmj hoodie i'm wearing in a sea of about 5,000 panic t-shirts. somebody's gotta do it):



Oh, and this was the crew at Langerado about 20min before MMJ went on. We're all facing the stage so you can't see it, but we're about 15 feet from the guard rail.  We were all in rare form, so please excuse the excessive smiling...



Hopefully, we'll have a hodgepodge of forum members in the one we take at ACL!

Damn, those pictures bring back some awsome memories! My Bday show, I can still remember running over to your group like a little girl when cobra came on. We will for sure one day meet up again for a show!!

listen, for all of y'all who've never had me standing beside you at a concert, i whip my hair (fairly unconsciously), and apparently it hurts, so be careful and give me about a 2 foot long radius, which is approximately how long my hair is these days.  if i do whip you, please let me know, and i will be more careful.  the last time this happened, i found out because i looked beside me and a boy was encircling his girlfriend and using his hat as a shield, and so i felt embarrassed, and i wish he would have just told me.
