Man, this really sucks.  I just searched to see what's available and it seems a great deal of those really good seats for Chicago made it into the hands of scalpers.

When is this BS going to stop?  It's bad enough that ticketmaster burns you, if you are lucky enough to get through, if not you get screwed worse by the friggin brokers.  What a load of crap.

Thanks for letting me vent. >:(

In case anybody is even thinking about it...

DO NOT buy concert tickets off of eBay.  When I saw Radiohead at the Auditorium Theater here in Chicago a few years ago, we saw kids there who had spent $300 on tickets from eBay.  The tickets were fake, and they didn't get into the show (which, btw, was awesome -- they played a lot of what eventually became In Rainbows).

Anyway, you really don't know what you are buying, so don't risk it.

(Of course, it's easy enough for me to say since I have a front row main floor ticket.)

I'm not going to, I got one dead center in the balcony, 4th row.
Just thought I'd mention that some are out there, and you are right, they most likely could be fakes.

just go to the show early...buy from the scalpers on the street.  can usually find face value...if not, the box office ALWAYS sells day of tickets.  Remember: Where there is a will, there is a way!
God damn those shaky knees.

Quotejust go to the show...the box office ALWAYS sells day of tickets.

Is this always the case in Chicago or is it everywhere, in your experience?
"Sometimes it runs its course in a day, babe.  Sometimes it goes from night after night."
