Bonnaroo Bumming....

Ever since the first time reaching the farm 2 years ago that special place has never left my mind. When My Morning Jacket was added again this year i could barely contain myself. But, the rest of the line up seemed to bum me out to say the leat. I still planned on going until today pondering all day and reading the schedule again. It seems as if they haver slapped me in the face and put ALL of the artists i most dearly want to see  on friday. With most overlapping or to close for comfort. I do live in Michigan so Ill attend the Detroit show And Rothbury for my festival fix.  And more than likey i'll get down to Kentucky this summer to see all the home crowd. Have fun all that are going i still will be extremely jealous of you, but i just can't muscle out that kinda bread for only one day of hustle and bustle.  :'(

Three hours of My Morning Jacket, man... You can "work in" other folks, too... One or two days of great music is worth it to me, but I factor in a lot of things like being with friends and whatnot, too.

$300 is steep, though, I'm with you on that.

Yeah, $300 is steep but its worth it for me, most of the bands I want to see have barely any over lap over the 3 day period, I'm not counting Thursday because it blows for the most part.  Although the overlap was my biggest complaint of last year, I missed so many awesome sets because I was either running between tents watching two or three different acts or I couldn't manage to pull myself away from for another.
