It does look sweet huh? I am certain that all the proceeds from the sale of merchandise goes towards 826 National and the tutoring of youth.

As for your question, hmmmm, it probably would not be appropriate to reveal that here. ;) uh...My toes.

;D Hey, what am I some kind of lush?  There will be plenty left over.  Everyone else can share these:

*GERMANY: Rauchbier (Smoked Beer) I like my smoke and beer seperated.
*NON-ACLOHOLIC
*Handpump (Not sure what that is but I might be up for one?  Didn't know it was that kind of place.)

The wiskey is all mine.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

YouAre_GivenToFly

Me and my friend are going to a place called Johnny Utahs, right around the corner from RCMH. They have a Whiskey Menu.

http://www.johnnyutahs.com/menus.html
The wind blew me back, via Chicago, in the middle of the night.

cmccubbin25

so what's the plan again for the pre-game?

has anything been decided?

Quotere: heartland brewery meet up pre-show:turns out that while the heartland near rcmh has some "side rooms" they do NOT offer room reservations.

another heartland close by offers them but one has to pay for catering.  meh.  :P

so!

to keep it loose and light, and not give anyone "reservation anxiety" i propose that anyone who wants to meet up with some forum peeps before the show, just come on down to the heartland brewery near RCMH.

it's sure to be hopping on show night, so give yourself plenty of time to get bar service and relax (?) before the show.

as the date gets closer we can discuss which color carnation we'll all be wearing so that we're identifiable in a crowd.   ;)

the place closes at 11p, so post-show drinks seem unlikely.

i would just like to add:  YOW!! :D

Bumping the info while I'm getting mentally prepped!  Yowza!!! :D :D

Have we decided on a color theme? I'm partial to orange. :-*

While I'm at it, here's a list of things I have on my list to do.  Clearly I like to eat.

Friday:
Get there, go to hotel, crash, and saunter to Heartland with jittery anticipation.
Rock out.

Saturday:
Run 5 miles.
Whitney Museum.
Magnolia for cupcakes.
Maybe to Sarni's for a drink instead.
H&M for cheap cheap shopping.
Ollie's for delicious hot potsticker things that I love so much.
Someplace else for a drink.  Who knows?
Carnegie deli.  I prefer it over Katz's.
Zabar's.  To pretend like I'm grocery shopping.
Shopsin's.  Oh, they're only open for breaky, must do this first.

Sunday:
There's a Yankee game at 1:05 (as well as on Sat, hmmmm?).  I could probably get to JFK by 6???

The end.
a bunch of us will be here!  [smiley=beer.gif]

Ive got an EVIL plan babe

So yall are wearing carnations?  I don't know If I'll make it to Heartland because I have 3 others in my group.  None of which are forum members.
Just cause it starts off slow babe, doesn't mean I  don't have evil urges.

Ive got an EVIL plan babe

oh, i guess that was a joke.

I understand orange carnations are de rigueur in Manhattan right now.   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
My jacket's gonna be cut slim and checked

Quoteweek from tonight!!!!!!!!!! :D
!!!!!!

re:  orange carnations, etc.  you know, this is NOT a bad idea.  i once went  to a restaurant near a venue to meet up with some people before a wilco show, and the place was full of people there for the show.

meaning, just b/c someone is wearing a jacket shirt at the bar doesn't mean they are from the board.

ok.  i'm gonna give this some thought.

first pass:  viking helmets, flowers on the lapel, tuxedo t-shirts are all possible indicators.

also:  an easter peep worn somewhere on your person.  on your shoulder, as a pirate, perhaps?

if you don't want to wear anything, using the phrase "rampant badassery" will be an indicator.   ;D

Will this also work?  "Excuse me sir or madam, may I buy you a drink and thrust in your face?"  No.  Nope.  Bad idea.  Nevermind.

If I'm there, I will likely have a "Hello My Name is" sticker on.  Or just orange tape with my forum name.  I wouldn't know where to get a viking helmet, nor do I want one.

Is anyone else riding the rails to NYC?  I'll be on the 50 Cardinal from Indianapolis to Wilmington all by my lonesome Tuesday/Wednesday.
Just cause it starts off slow babe, doesn't mean I  don't have evil urges.

I want to catch y'all before you leave. HAVE A GREAT TIME PEEPS! I will be there in spirit.......
