QuoteMy only concern now is I get presale seats, then when I try again on Friday I get better seats through the public sale.

My friend is going for presale, if he gets six that are okay, I'm trying first thing on friday for another six and then we can sell the others on here

That's what I plan on doing, I just hope if I do happen to get better tickets on Friday I can sell the other 4 quickly, nothing like $250 worth of tickets I can't use sitting on my credit card  :-/

I feel ya, I'm trying to survive graduate school on loans and money I received from undergrad graduation!

I'll be starting my last year of undergrad in August. Its hard to complain though, considering I booked a flight to Louisville a couple of days ago haha

You know, after everything that happened with RCMH, I'm not sure that I'm ready for the next wave of people who are pissed because "they got screwed" on the pre-sale or on the actual on-sale date.  Nor am I ready for the wave of new people that is sure to follow these tickets going on sale.

The first presale went incredibly fast. Most fans missed out. It resulted in a lot of rants here on the board. As a result they had a second (much less publicized, if I remember correctly) presale.

People who dont get presale tickets would do well to remember that MSG is 4 times the size of Radio City; it shouldnt be a problem getting tickets. Im actually worried about them not selling the place out. Its not that I "dont believe in the band" or any nonsense like that, but Madison Square Garden on a night when there are 4 or 5 other (relatively) big shows in town? Its a risky proposition for the guys. I really hope it works out. Especially since we already booked a hotel room... :-/
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

You also need to consider this:

How many people are making New Year's Eve plans ..... In June?
Thank you .... You've been a lovely audience ....I'll be here all week .... Try the veal!

doEVILslittle

that's exactly why it was announced so early

whats RCMH's capacity? I think the Garden holds a little under 30k, I would think thats like almost 10 times the capacity of RCMH

and I was acutally thinking the same thing about them not selling out the show. Typically the only 1 band shows they have there are shows they know will sell out (Phish is actually the only band I know of the played with no opener on NYE), and despite my love for MMJ and their 'Boiler Room'-esque fast rise right now, Im not sure theyll sell 30 thousand tix, going along with the fact that was brought up that there are so many shows in NYC (pre midnight and latenight) going on then.

I certainly would feel more comfortable with tix in hand tho and then if I cant go or something just sell them

QuoteDoes anyone know if there is a ticket limit?

I got right in on the presale for RCMH and got 1st Mezz last row...its so random, sometimes presale tix are great, other times they suck.
