Amazing show last night. Jim mentioned he had been poisoned by an apple backstage. Loved the cape during the encore too.

Whatta setlist!!!  THE encore was stupid-sick!!!

hey, what's with the cape? it's been around alot, lately.
O, How time flies, with crystal clear eyes.  But it's cold, it's cold, when you're ending with diamond eyes.

We were also treated to Bo doing occasional keyboards for Everest.

Jim says the most hilarious shit...  ;D

I've been wondering, what's the omnichord sounding like in Touch Me Pt. 2? At Bonnaroo he used his mouth, the performance afterward the omnichord he used sounded nothing like the album version.
--- and that's 2 real 4 u.

damn. is jim touring solo over there or something?!

It was a great night. Encore Heaven!!

Does anyone know what the music was that was played when the band came on stage?

I took that video and the reason it's only Jim was the angle. I was holding a mobile phone and was stood in front of the guitar/bass and could either get the rest of the band or get Jim or produce wobbly, nausea-inducing movement.

We have another vid which will go up with the review which has a little footage of the rest of the band, but again, I was at a bad angle to get them because I was too close.

The gig was amazing. I swear they get better every time.

Immense gig, brilliant set.

I'm pretty sure the entrance music was "get a move on" by Mr Scruff off his album "keep it unreal" which itself samples "bird's lament (in memory of charlie parker)" by moondog. 99% sure it was the Mr. Scruff version though... He is a Manc after all!

Hope this helps.

Hi, first post  :-[

I too was at the gig (it's infact me you can hear screaming first on the beginning of Highly Suspicious on the vid) and it was amazing!  ;D

I'd never seen MMJ before and was lucky enough to be front row infront of Jim... while spending the gig avoiding his hair, nearly being kicked in the face and trodden on by one Mr James (:o) I got some good pics... Thought you might all like to see  :)

The audience was great and to all the people I met and spoke to before and after, thanks :)

Absolutely amazing  ;D
Don't let 'em take who you are boy, and don't try to be who you ain't...

Nice pics!

Damn, looks like they cut out Picture Of You.... that's on my list of songs I need to hear live.

Crispy

Welcome Sian - that's one hell of an indoctrination!  Oh man, I would love to hear Picture of You too.

They did, would have been good to see it but One Big Holiday was so monumental it wasn't that missed   8-)

Damn, they need to NOT cut Picture of You from the set. EVER.

When they do that late fall/early winter tour of the US and St Louis is a stop, POY needs/will be on the list?

I can dream can't I?

G

I assume they cut 'Picture of You' because they added 'Bemuda highway' to the set due to technical problems early on. As mentioned in a previous post, the version of 'Wordless Chorus' was one of the best things I've ever seen. Nice pictures by the way, I think I was standing next to you, I was just in front of Carl and Tommy, leaning on the stage.

Yeah we were directly infront of Jim leaning on the stage  :) Wordless Chorus was amazing!!  ;D

Actually, I met two guys there. One spoke to me, my friends and boyfriend about Pearl Jam before and after the show (we were wearing PJ t's and my Alive stickman tattoo was on show) and the other was a guy from (I think) Barcelona who'd travelled just to see MMJ. He gave my friend one of the two picks he aquired and I just wondered if either guys posted on here?  :)
