Miami Beach Show

Ok, so I know there aren't many Jacketeers down in So. Fla, but I was wondering if anyone here on the board is going to the show on August 29th.  I'll be there with a few of my friends and we were gonna do some pre-drinking before the big event.  

We were thinking Zeke's on Lincoln road.  ($3 beers/ best deal on So.Beach)

Might not be any in S.Fla but I've been representing Cen Fla for several years. I would post a Orlando thread but probably wouldn't get a lot of response.

It's just a couple of blocks from the venue...the bar is on lincoln road which is a long pedestrian thoroughfare and the venue is just a few blocks from there....i'll look up the address and post it on here so that folks can come if they want

i'm hoping that there is a good turnout for this show....so. fla shows can be kinda sketchy (lots of "casual" fans who usually just come out to see "what all the fuss is about")  but i'm bringing two newbie friends with me (one who just got back from Iraq) and they're pumped for the show

hopefully so. fla can represent so we can keep getting good shows in the future

Flying down from DC on Thursday night!  Have a couple of friends in Miami who know the promoter.   :)  By the time I realized I could make it to this show, the freebies were gone.  So, I'm looking for a PIT ticket, in case you know of anyone with an extra.

Its right on lincoln road which is the big pedestrian walking area on so beach.  Its literally a hop skip and a jump (5 min walk) to the venue.  My friends and I are gonna head there later in the afternoon (unfortunately i'm gonna have to put in a half day at work) but we'll def be there.

$3 beers -- best deal on lincoln road and good people watching

Amazing venue, great show.  I loved that they switched up the set a little bit.  Very happy to hear Knot Comes Loose.  I'm 0-4 this summer on War Begun's, really hope I get one in Philly on Friday.

Louisville and Miami? You're quite the traveler. I would have liked to do another out of state trip but the hotel for NYE kind of wiped me out. Im with you on War Begun though, I'd be ecstatic to get it in DC or Philly. War Begun and Evelyn...that would make my night.
