tsup! i'm heading down to the philly show tomorrow and am wondering:
a) what time has mmj been coming on this tour
b) when do the doors open (7:30?)
c) around what time have they been finishing up their shows

I wouldn't mind trying to catch liam finn at the world cafe afterwards.  i think he comes on around 10, so that would be pretty sweet.

thanks guys

bearass

the show i saw lasted till about 11-1130

Sets run anywhere from 2 1/2 hours to close to 3 hours.  Last night was the first of five I've seen in the last couple of weeks where they didn't start right on time.
God sure baked a lot of fruitcake, baby.

-show time has varied. tickets for this show say 7:30
-doors usually open an hour prior to the show time, so I'd guess 6:30
-sets usually run two and a half to three hours.

A bunch of board members will be at Cavanaughs River Deck prior to the show, come by and say hello!
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

Thats because the jackass DC hipsters couldnt get to their seats on time. Overall the crowd last night really sucked, from the guy saying "the lead singers name is Jim Jones, and they sound like Jimmie Eat World", to the girl next to us in the front row with her back to the stage, to the guy outside telling me that the guys need to come sign stuff because its in their best interest as business men. Shitty crowd. Philly better get their shit together for tomorrow, because that crap wont cut it 2 shows in a row.

yeah i would guess they will be on right at 7:30, as it is an outdoor GA venue.

no more than 3 hours with set breaks.

and it's suppose to be 90 down there tomorrow. going to be one hell of a night!!
Is there a doctor in the house tonight?

Its going to be about 80 at showtime, and its supposed to pour at 9. We might be welcoming the rain.

I understand your delima, but I would highly recomend staying away from live music for at least a week after a Jacket show.  In fact, you might not even want to turn on your car stereo because you are still receiving soundwaves from the show.

Liam Finn will come around again, but vow to never miss/skip out early on a MMJ show...ever.
