Great posts, all, on this and on the setlist thread.

This weekend was summer sosltice -- one big holiday, indeed.

Thanks to Ms. Yvon for the wonderful details and wine-filled deliberations.

I just got Nashville tickets, and I hope to add Louisville and one more Chicago to my year of the Jacket.

LGLayinglow

I was there too and when they came out to the street for more pictures.  The show was amazing! I'm glad you got tickets to get in...MMJ spirits were with you!

I also took a few great shots of the band standing on top of RCMH at around 2pm yesterday....I waved to the band and they waved back....JIm had on his cape....  :)

lisaskye

thank for the details ms_yvon.  Glad the jacket nation is meeting and friends are connecting....

See you in LA and San Diego..maybe Denver

New York New York, A fine city and with the best band out there.

Love to you all and Happy Summer....

AMightyCaporal

after a few of the songs I just had to sit down. I was far too amazed to stand.  I just shook my head, muttered "fucking unbelievable" and sat down and took some deep breaths.  I would look over at my friend, he was taken back also, just shaking his head back and forth clapping saying things like, "god damn" or "these guys, man"

ugh, such an amazing show! a huge thank you to the jacket for making my first MMJ show the best concert I have ever seen
Oh I'll never say I knew you, but my heart can't wait to meet you on the other side

AMightyCaporal

couldn't stand all the people talking! it was killing me, eventually i was able to block it out but why would you talk during the entire concert? did they not see and hear what was happening right infront of them?

Did anyone else want to jump on the stage with those two girls? when the one tried to wave people on I was thinking, YES YES! those security guards were pretty big though, I panicked and stayed where I was

evil horn

and everybody saw what they did with the houselights at the end of pt2, right?

we were in a spaceship!

me and my friends were screaming "THE MOTHERSHIP IS LANDING!!!" as the ceiling lights breathed along to the music.  amazing.

what a show - my favorite thing about it is that I went in with insanely high expectations, and they were just blown away.

well said....It happens more and more.... when did this trend of people talking in concerts start???  It seems the 70's was a time when people listened to the music....

Random Question:

Anyone know what the entrance music was? (both before the lights dimmed and directly before going into EU)

I can't get it out of my head!

lol

j_rud

Not my pic, but certainly worth posting...

Whoa

so, my flight just got back into tampa and its the first time i've been on a computer since friday night

nothing left to say which hasn't already been said..but let me toss my name in the hat of individuals who's faces were melted...who's bodies were rocked...who's heads exploded with joy...and whatever else it was that happened to me during those wonderful few hours

that was a brilliant show of epic proportions and i don't think i stopped dancing or cheering the entire time

It was really great meeting everyone at the brewery before the show...i got a good group pic of us that i will post on here (as soon as I learn how :) help)

I look forward to seeing everyone who comes out to the Miami Beach, Orlando and NYE shows over the next few months

One last word....amazing

time for some much needed rest
