Here is what went down this evening in the most intimate and amazing venue in the heart of Texas:

Evil Urges
Touch Me Pt. 1
I'm Amazed
Thank You Too
Sec Walkin
2 Halves
War Begun (best one I've heard)
Librarian
Look at You
Smokin from Shootin
Touch Me Pt. 2
Nashville to KY (fantastic surprise!)
Just 1 Thing (as if things couldn't get any better)
Wordless Chorus
Highly Suspicious
Cobra (need I say more)
Steam Engine (show stealer/easily the song of the night)

Encore:

Aluminum Park
1 Big Holiday

Jim said, "Austin is home to all possibilities and everything that is possible."  Couldn't agree more.  Great show!  And it should be airing in November (they are making us wait awhile).

War Begun, Nashville to Kentucky, Just One Thing, and Cobra...wow man, you guys got a great setlist. Im still keeping my fingers crossed for Nashville to Kentucky or Evelyn is Not Real in DC or Philly.
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

Quoteis this going to be aired?
Yes, eventually. Only questions are:
1) when?
2) how much of it?

Sweet, I hope they get a full hour.  This is going to be a great little companion piece to OKONOKOS!

Wordless Chorus, Steam Engine and One Big Holiday are the only songs on the setlist that are even on OKONOKOS!  That's amazing!
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

....exactly what I was thinking....those four songs would have floored me....

I was hoping they wouldn't air anything from the last ACL (Golden, Gideon, WAWM, Dondante, Anytime).  They didn't play any of those songs, so I guess that won't be a problem!

EU opened and OBH closed, so I imagine those two will air.  Steam Engine might be too long, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.  Please give us a full hour!!!

Stolen as the war begun, this time your soul is my one.

How long was the performance? 2 hrs?

Just for fun, this is my prediction.  I think it would be cool if they somehow got Cobra and Highly Suspcious in there but I just am not counting on it.

best sounding venue in the world.  they played right at two hours.  word is it will air Nov. 1

good_evening_everyone

Terry (producer of ACL) stated before the show that they will get their own hour.

It was also one of the few tapings in which they didn't play a song over/again.  Most will screw up a song and then come back out at the end and tape it again.

The poster for this show is also fan-freakin-tastic!

The DARK

Interesting setlist. Every song from Evil Urges except Remnants got played, even though it was shortened. No Golden and nothing from At Dawn.

That said, it's gonna be crazy seeing how this turned out.

PS: Aluminum Park---->One Big Holiday should be played more often.
In another time, in another place, in another face
