The postponed October 9th and 10th shows at the Chicago Theater have been rescheduled for December 27th and 28th of this year. Tickets purchased for the October 9th show will be honored on December 27th, and tickets purchased for the October 10th show will be honored on December 28th.  For those unable to make the show, refunds will be given at the point of purchase.

Hope you can re-make it out.

Nice.  However I expect Christmas to wreak havoc on many peoples plans.

By the way, I have a great idea for a Christmas gift if anyone was planning on buying me something this year. ;)
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I am so sad, I bought tickets for myself, my girlfriend, and two friends and wanted them to see the band so so bad. They will be back home on winter break. :( May have some tickets up for sale, let everyone know later.

Hi all!  First time poster, but I've been a lurker for awhile.  I've seen MMJ 4 times including the Kansas City and Milwaukee shows from this tour.  I actually stumbled onto the band when they were opening up for Pearl Jam a few years ago.  I've been hooked ever since.  First album I bought was Z, then I worked backwards eventually making it all the way back to the Early Recordings.  I've started my vinyl collection with copies of the Tennesse Fire, It Still Moves, Acoustic Cituosca(sp?) and Evil Urges.  I've got the Okonokos DVD and recently picked up the Acoustic Chorale DVD off of eBay (it's freaking awesome if you've ever wondered).

So, what's the point of all this background?  I have tickets for the first night of Chicago, now rescheduled to the 27th of December but did not get tickets for Friday's show before they sold out.  I do plan on buying tickets off of craigslist or somewhere else for the rescheduled 28th show.  However, with the reschedule I'm thinking some people's holidays may not allow them to attend.  If that's the case, I'd be interested in buying your tickets.  So, yeah, that's what this is all about.  I'd rather buy them from a fan on the board as compared to a scalper and I'm trying to show I'm a fan as well and not some stinking scalper troll.

So if you've got a pair of tickets that you won't be able to use, PM me.  Thanks for reading and get well Jim.

Hi Bob (awesome name, btw)

I won't be able to go to the shows. I'm heading out to NYE and there's NO way I can make it up there.

I'm pissed about it, but hopefully someone can use my tickets.

I have a balcony ticket for the first night, and a pair of awesome seats for the second night. Let me know if you want them.

THIS F'ING SUCKS!!!

It means that whoever you bought them from is whoever you get the refund from.

Which I'm pretty sure means I'm screwed since I bought my tickets for the second night though ebay.

So, so sad am I. But I cannot do this in any way shape or form. :(

I may have tickets to sell to night two.

Thank you band for rescheduling so soon, so at least I can figure out my life.

capt. scotty

Yeah, this reschedule def blows

I was hoping theyd do it a couple weeks from now before they left the US but nope

I still want to go, but Im going to be living back in Pittsburgh by then, so if I would go, it seems to me it would make a lot more sense to just sell this tix/get a refund and go to NYC for NYE

Well, not an ideal date, but I'll be able to make it (whew!).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Why oh why would the band reschedule the concert right after Christmas??? PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE AND THAT IT WILL BE FOR ANOTHER TIME!!

I was one of the first to buy tickets in March. I was waiting for this show for over 6 months. And when I heard it was postponed I was so bummed, but hopeful that JJ would get better and looking forward to the bands performance. and now this.... Now I can't even go because its the week of Christmas?! WHY OH WHY???

I am seriously devastated  :'(

Any word on the Schubas show being rescheduled?  I'm guessing Jim still won't be feeling up to it by the time the election rolls around.  Get well soon, JJ!

I feel terrible for those of you who will have to miss the rescheduled shows.  What a bummer!  Maybe we should start a ticket swapping thread?
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

Salacious D

A ticket thread or even a ticket forum is a great idea.

I know it's been mentioned a few times before, but I think it's time to get one going for real.

Where are the powers that be? How can we get this rolling?

Yeah...I'll second that idea once again. Not a fan of peelin' through "I got a tix" and "I wanna tix" posts when looking at show reviews 'n such. It's nice to work with fans though when it comes to xtra's. Friendly peeps, those MMJ fans.  :)
