Tuesday night was my first MMJ show and I enjoyed every minute of the performance.  I wish Jim a speedy and complete recovery and would love to see them back in Iowa City when he's feeling better.

I guess it depends on which guitar.  I think he uses the 335 on Off the Record which has rounded edges.  It might be a little less painful than catching the corner of the V.  Any way you cut it, falling off stage does not sound fun.

Damn...they were killin' it! It looks and sounds like he went down hard. The light on his guitar shows the momentum of the fall. (It goes down at 6:11).  :(

It's weird to me that a shorter newspaper article like this revealed his real name.  That was something I didn't learn till I came to this forum, and at the time it seemed like only half of even the serious fans knew that piece of info.

We won't yell at you...honest question for someone who may be unfamiliar with the catalog but definately into the Jacket...and to that I say, Welcome.

Okonokos is a 2 disc Live cut released in 2006 that highlights their live show.  It was simultaneously released as a DVD which takes you further into the presence they have onstage.

Some people refer to Okonokos as a greatest hits-type thing, but I just refer to it as some bad-ass, mofo'in music.  A must have...  :)
