Got great seats for Sun., still waitin on my tickets from SH though.

oh, and to anyone who is coming from out of town and wants to stuff their face with good pizza- Giordano's is your place, not Lou Malnati's (unlike the above post said, that shit is straight up bad.)

can't wait to see you all there, you think they'll still be opening with Evil Urges?

newjack

thanks to all for the great advice on some side trips while in chicago. Anyone have any experience w/the Shedd Aquarium ? Also, whats the chance either show could have someone from Chicago show up as a special guest, like Erykah Badu did in Dallas ? Speculate ?

ALady

The Shedd is fun.  It might be a good place to spend a few hours if the weather's ugly.

The Chicago History Museum does a number of L, trolley, and walking tours of Chicago neighborhoods; they also do "historical pub crawls":

I'm thinking we'll likely get an Andrew Bird appearance.

If I cant find anyone to buy my ticket to 12/28 in the next couple days, could someone here that is going to the show sell it for me at the show??

Its been like 9 months since I bought it, so I forget where this is exactly in the theater, but I remember it being fairly good:

section MNFL1L, row A, seat 105

36 F    WOO HOO !!!!! I might have to break out the Gold Bond.  I don't trust the weather channel anymore.  Our weather has been so friggin crazy.  I don't think they now what 6" really is.  Thats ok though, shhhh.... my wife doesn't either ;)  :)

Yesterday was freaking COLD.  36 sounds positively balmy in comparison!  I'll be wearing shorts.

Seriously you guys, not even a WEEK until we get to witness the Jacket's triumphant return!

hey everyone, i have yet to see mmj live and this weekend will be my first time. my buddy got tickets for saturday and i just found tickets for sunday online. the seats are main floor left row LL. does anyone know how those are, the seating chart wouldn't load. thanks guys!

sweetheartlover

SUPER PUMPED!!! However, my friend just bailed on me for a "Family Christmas" affair. I'd rather spend my night or life with MMJ. I have a single ticket for 12/27 and would like to see it go to a wild, crazy, reckless individual who knows how to rock!!
MNFL ROW DDD seat 401 section A
So, it's in the PIT and is row 4 right infront of Jim.
Paid $250 for the pair but message me if you are interested.

Jack, you are in for a treat!  Those seats are quite good; there really isn't a bad spot on the floor.  There are four rows of pit (AAA, BBB, CCC, and DDD) and then the double-lettered rows start, so the LL seats are 16 rows from the stage.  Not bad at all!

Oh, also?  It's supposed to be 50 degrees and rainy on Saturday.  I love Chicago...

YESSIR!!! 50 balmy degrees is perfect throwdown weather in the City of Wind. :D

ms. yvon

I'm not buying it.  Even if it is 50, it'll last for a minute, it'll only be under the sun, the wind will be blowing hard and in the shade it'll feel like the 30's.  I won't be fooled again!
