So...I'm coming on a train from NC...and I'm wondering if I should take the risk of bringing a $200 camera....Is it easy to sneak cameras into Madison Square....or do they have metal detectors? Any advice would be great!

Thanks!

you shouldn't have a problem - i've brought my camera in with me everytime i've been to the garden.

I have never had a problem with cameras at MSG, I don't see why this show would be any different.  Generally they do random bag checks and pat downs and they are not very thorough.  Good luck...

I took a drum into MSG once to a Dead show...no problem what so ever, but that was back in the 90's.

I've never had an issue with a camera there. It's probably not even a big deal to bring it in, they just don't like you taking pictures inside.

I'd stick the camera in your pocket rather than a bag when you're coming in.

It seems like since every cell phone has a camera, they've (The Man) really stopped harrassing over taking pictures.

There we're people at RCMH with telescopic lenses snapping shots...MSG owns RCMH.  Shouldn't be an issue....

PS.  I've got a picture of you!
