Yeah! forget 'roo! Rothfest is where its at!

I have no idea how to accomplish this... but it would be sweet.

That would be amazing. When I met Jim in Detroit I heard him talking to people next to me who asked if they were going to play at Rothbury and he said he'd never heard of that festival!
Hopefully he realizes that he should partake in such an event.
Don't let your silly dreams, fall in between, the cracks of the bed and the wall.

they belong at BONNAROO with their 'real' fans. lol

just playin.

stevenflow1989

Wow! Already planning on Rothbury but if the band decided to play I would have my tickets bought ASAP! Please make this happen!

stevenflow1989

Man I don't know...I kind of have a feeling....MMJ @ Rothbury :)

I have a friend that is close w a family member of the people that own the land that rothbury is held at and he said that it might not happen at all this year.  Supposedly they made some money mistakes and lost alot.  Said something about a possible law suit that would definetly shut the festival down for good.  I really hope this isn't true because we can never have enough music festivals for the good of the people!!!
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make

Rothbury would be alot more fitting for a band like MMJ. The jacket doesnt need to play at a festival where the headliners included Metallica, I bet next years line up for the roo will include the Jonas Brothers. lol

I heard first hand from a resident of the area who claims the locals really want to make this an annual event.  They like the attention and think its generally a good vibe and fun time. MMJ should also get two headlining nights and would carry the festival.  This NEEDS to happen, would be the best place for them in my humble opinion.

Check the site.. Rothbury IS happening... It was in the news the past few months around here... The guy lost his farm to the bank before he made any money from last years fest.. It has since been sold and Whatever company that runs the show offered  the deal to the new owner.. Apparently they accepted the deal.. Can't wait to see ya'll out.. This took Bonnaroo's spot for me in my heart. No Fuse bullshit and totally eco-friendly..

Was it really a question if the actual festival was going to happen??

I think the main ?? is if MMJ will be there, and based on how everything else is turning out, doesnt look likely
The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care. - Peter Gibbons

Well, without the festival happening, it's hard for them to be there..

AMightyCaporal

maybe they will play at my wedding in august 2010... although I don't think I would be paying much attention to my fiancee or guests... she probably wouldn't like that.
Oh I'll never say I knew you, but my heart can't wait to meet you on the other side

when is this lineup coming out?  I know they only decided a few weeks back to actually hold the event, but come on now.  Being on a 4th of July weekend, i think people need to know way ahead of time if tehre going to go or not just because this fest falls on a holiday and most people already have there summer vacations planned out.

Early bird tickets this saturday, and on sale the following friday, so probably sometime next week is when the lineup will come out. I'm buying this saturday regardless, so it will be cool to find out if MMJ is on there.

Looks like the bill is filled. Big lineup tho'
I'll wait on mmj & pj shows. Only ticket I'm holding is the Dead May 10
Not the one thing. I used to think I
could at least some way put things right.

If there was a Dylan & the Dead set, I'd consider it...   :D
