Yes, I did.  As I was telling Kory, I am losing my mind from lack of sleep.  I remember the conversations we had about it, but I forgot that you found it for us!  Sorry for the confusion and thanks again.  I finally got to take a listen and it's similar to the Chapter One version with the long intro and electric guitar but it's definately enough different to be worth while.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Fully understand  8-)

However, I think you're confused again, as the 2 Meter version of Old September Blues does not appear on Chapter One, but only on the "2 Meter Sessies Volume 10" NL v/a CD from September 2001.
The Old September Blues on Chapter One is the ga-ed out version, which was recorded live at Rotown, Rotterdam, The Netherlands on January 27, 2000 for "Lola da Musica", VPRO TV, The Netherlands and had been previously available on the "Heartbreakin Man" CD EP from May 2000.

Furthermore, Chapter Two has "I'll Be There When You Die" as "I Will Be There When You Die/Sunrides And The Girls Scream (live)" from the same session. The same version had been previously available on the European version of MMJ's Xmas EP from December 2000).

See the songlist on my site  ;)

P.S. OK, not really confused as you wrote "it's definately enough different" ...  8-)

Yeah, I just meant it had the same big two minute long intro as the Chapter One version.

QuoteAs you probably all have seen by now, I announced that I will no longer update the site with new releases (starting this year). I will however update the songlist with every release from 2006 and I will keep the information already there as correct as possible... However, I will not close the site AND the site can be continued with all of your input! If I get the information as detailed as possible, and I do not have to search for it all by myself, so that it only has to be added and uploaded, I can provide the webspace, and we keep one site with all the information. It can be a collaborative effort, instead of mainly me searching for most information and updating the site, if y'all know what I mean!?

The main reason that I was unable to keep the site as up-to-date as I used to, is time, which I do not have anymore since I have two kids. And it did cost a lot of time to find all those pieces of information. And to be honest, I have been a bit disappointed by the lack of input (thanks to those who DID contribute) throughout the years from people visiting the site ... It takes dedication to find this amount of information, I remember spending several hours, just browsing websites, comparing found information, just to find an accurate release date. It's not just copying some information found on one website. It needs to be compared with other websites, and most important with the releases themselves. Most information is there, because I bought about every single release that is listed. So, it also takes some money  :) One recent example. On various websites the Okonokos 4LP vinyl release was listed with a bonus side with four (4) tracks not on the CD. Comparing tracklists already made clear that that probably was not correct, if a tracklist could be found. Well, the only 100% guarantee of what is correct, is having both the actual 2CD and 4LP releases, and knowing that it's 'only' three (3) tracks ...

I'm not complaining here, I'm just trying to make clear how much dedication it takes. And it's a labour of love, you don't make money, it only costs ...

Anyhow, please know that I can offer the webspace and that I'm very interested in continuing the website as a collaborative effort!

I know it's work you've went through, I just hope you know it's fully appreciated!
Count me in as one of the colaborators, but you probably knew that...  ;)

btw, someone added this line a couple days ago which I deleted.  what's this about:

Hipsters usually scoff at the notion that this band is a "Hipster" band, however, Darren "Piggy" Headrick confirmed on his March 27th radio show that this is indeed the case.

Kory

alright, thanks for those dylan! I can over the next few days work on posting these. I have done a couple before bed so people can see how it will work.
If we always start with this link...
http://mmjfaq.blogspot.com/2007/04/my-morning-jacket-faq-index.html

and when we post a new "blog post" go back to the first post and add a link to it we'll have a big cool list that will point to a blog page for each question where we could go as far as adding pictures, links or what have you (if you're not into the whole brevity thing). ;)

or for that matter someone can buy www.mmjfaq.com or something and point it to that address for a cleaner address. Only 6.99 a yr for an address anymore...

I created the account and a new gmail account (same login) for this and we can pass it around and everyone who's interested can mess with it or ir anyone has some free time and some understanding, you can post the rest of the questions or edit the look. I just threw this together quickly and it's rough around the edges so far but it's a start that will stay there and stay free.

This is very simple to learn and if anyone has any questions, let me know as I've been messing with the blog thing here lately... now for a shameless plug (I deserve it) www.37flood.com

PM me for the password and login. Dylan, I'll send it to you right now...
talk to you guys soon.
