Check out a 4th row ticket available, with all proceeds to the American Red Cross!

I was bummed when I pulled Row W for this, my second MMJ show.  It is an aisle seat and in an intimate venue. Still, I wanted something special.  My first show had me way the fuck back.  So I scored a pair of 4th row seats, in front of Yim (assuming he still favors that side of the stage).

Check out this seating chart.

I hope someone from this forum ends up standing next to me having the time of their life.  Every penny from the winning bid goes to the American Red Cross.

C'mon.  You know you want it.

Well, the other ticket has sold.

This baby, 4th row on Jim's side of the stage, still awaits her new owner.   Who will it be?

No bids yet, with 3 days left.  It all goes to the American Red Cross.

Quoteso what was the conclusion?

?

Not sure what you mean.  Auction goes until Tuesday night.  As of now, with less than a day and a half to go, no bids  :(

I've got 6 watching (probably includes me), so I expect to see some activity soon.  Should be fun to watch the last hour tomorrow night.

Ah!  I see.   When I click on the link, it says "the item has been removed or is no longer listed"... but it's because the link is not right, I guess.   When I search on the ebay site I find it.

Sorry!

BTW, this is a screaming deal!   I wish I could grab it.... I guess it's the "have to sit next to JohnnyYac" that's scaring people away.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of.  I dance like Elaine and sing off key.  I thought it would be a bonus, not a liabilty.  But, hey, 4th row... woooo!

Sorry the links are wrong.  I just copy and paste them but I've been visiting them through my eBay account.

Still no bids with just over 1 day to go!   :-/

Hey gang!  This auction ends in 7 hours, 10:09 PM EDT.  No bids yet.  Starting price $60 (just over my cost to cover eBay fees).  100% of the final price goes to the American Red Cross.  Nothing comes to me.

If you're already going to Birmingham on 4/20, you might upgrade to 4th row for $60!

Do I expect the price to climb?  Hell, yeah.  Still, sometimes, everyone waits to see what happens and one lucky duck gets a deal.

I'll be watching this listing live tonight and hope we can get this ticket to a deserving fan and help out the Red Cross as well.

This will be the last I have to say about this ticket until I report back with the winning bid tonight.  Thanks for putting up with my posts.

Good luck!

I can't believe it.  Not one bid!  I changed the listing a little.  I'll take any advice folks have to improve the chances of this going for a fair price.  Go figure.  I must say, I'm surprised.  Oh well.  Here's the new listing.  Spread it around.

Dude, your making me want to see how many miles it is to Birmingham.  I just don't think I can swing it.    It's hard to find someone to buy a single but I'd be all over it if I could.

I bet this would sell way faster the week before the show when that crackly buzzing sound starts over the horizon and you can feel the hairs on the back of your neck standing up as the louisville thunderstorm starts rolling in from the North straight down I-65.

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I hear ya, BH.  Hell, I'd even offer up my extra bed at the hotel, though as I've stated before, I snore pretty bad and I am a serial killer. [smiley=evil.gif]

I had actually thought about that a while ago...the only problem is that although I do live close, it's still in Homewood which is still a pretty good hop from the theatre. I'm gonna be at Speakeasy sometime that afternoon before the show just because it's right up the street from the theatre and it looks like most of the folks from here are gonna be there as well. If I lived in that part of town, trust me, there would be a huge throwdown at the house...before and after

I was kidding, mostly.  I'll be in landing in B'ham around noon, grabbing a car and checking in, then heading downtown.  I'll look for the Speakeasy, though some others and I have discussed a preshow event, possibly for charity.  Don't know if its gonna happen, though.

Three weeks from Tuesday!  Can't come fast enough!

Well, I'm disappointed, as the ticket only fetched $81.  :(

Nothing left to worry about, though.  Just hope whoever shows up in the seat next to me is a pleasant soul.

Three weeks from now, some of us will be in the middle of the first live My Morning Jacket since February 2009!
