B'ham Pre-show Get Together

Johnny... totally down. My buddy and I get in around 2 and will be looking for fellow jacketeers! I'm not sure exactly how far from the speakeasy the Redmont is but that is where I'm staying and you can stash your omnis there if speakeasy is being lame.  My buddy and I also play guitar and enjoy getting down on any jams Just Because We Do!! :D ... damn can you believe this just over a bill of hours (120) away Haven't seen Yim 'n the Gang since my Nashvegas-Lou ville- KC run... this shat gone be nasty!!!! sleeping is getting difficult but dreaming is becoming easy.  Death may be the easy way out but I'd rather wait! :D :D :D

Thanks LDsquared!  I might be meeting some forum folks from the area before heading to Speakeasy, but I'll bring my 'chords along and plan to be a Speakeasy by 4 or 5.  Call my cell once you're settled if you like: 603-568-6123 or I'll see you there.  

My students and half the high school know about Mr. Y's big plans for April vacation.  They are totally impressed with my trip and quite jealous.  I have created a few MMJ fans out of my students, mostly freshmen.  They would tell you next week is all Mr. Y has talked about since February!  Less than one week to go!

'tis fairly accurate for myself and, if he doesn't mind me speaking for him, scosby2.  Might be a bit later than 2pm, but you've got the gist of it.  I think Speakeasy will be crawling with forum folks by 4:30-5:00, my guess.  See you tomorrow, MMT.

I'm sure Speakeasy will be slammed, but I will probably run by there.  I might suggest The Garage for any adventurous out of towners.  Use GPS or a cab though:  2304 10th Terrace S, Birmingham, AL 35205-2408.  I saw John Stirrat there after a Wilco show once.
