ALady

I am at "probable" for this show.
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

goldenlady

the Wire was one of the greatest shows on cable TV...I too will need the tour...

Golden Lady + 4 (all MMJ veterens) :D

QuoteI could combine two obsessions here: MMJ in concert followed by a tour of The Wire's setting.  Not sure how much tickets to Baltimore cost...

EDIT: British Airways fly direct for $500

If by chance you make it, I would gladly give you a tour of the Wire's setting Mark. :)  I live in Central B'more, the relatively peaceful buffer between East and West.

How was Kerala?

Murph

Does anyone know approximately how far the Merriweather Pavillion is from Towson, MD?  I have some friends that go to school there so the only way i can make this happen is if i crash there.

Shepardspy

Did they release ticket prices for this show yet?

I used to live right next to Merriweather, so I've been there a whole bunch of times.  It's tucked away in the woods in the upscale community of Columbia. It's across the street from a great mall - The Mall In Columbia. It's a bit on the older side, but still is fairly nice.  I'd definately recommend getting pavillion seats though, because it's fairly hard to see the stage from the lawn (although they do have a jumbo tron on the edge of pavillion).

I'm coming down from Pennsylvania, most likely with a few friends.  Can't wait!  :D

It's a 25-35 minute drive from Columbia to Towson via the Beltway (depending on how fast you drive).

Hey Ruckus - thanks for the offer.  It's really tempting to get over, but it would be a pile of money for a weekend away...

Kerala was beautiful - people/scenery/food/vibe were all spectacular.  Coming back to a cold, snowy, dark UK was a real downer.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

What a relief to find out tickets for this show aren't on sale until 2/19.  I thought it was today.  I've had a crazy, awful weekend (all's fine now) and forgot all about this morning's ticket sale until now!

MmmmMmmmJ

I'll definitely be there.  Does anyone know what the deal is with presale?

Good question...

Jdbartender will be there plus one..

I saw MMJ back in 06 when they opened for Pearl Jam, but I had no idea who they were.  Now they are my favorite band... So this is kind of like my first MMJ show.  Super pumped!

brkndwnbus

i'll likely be there...with 3 or 4. i work right up the street from the pavilion.

TyeDyeGuy

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

goldenlady

when do the travel packages go on sale?

johnnYYac

QuoteDid you guys see this?  Looks like a pretty cool idea.

Yeah, looks like a nice package.  I wouldn't be surprised if some of the boys made an appearance.  Is that they're MO?

Funny, this show is the closest to me (NH), but I'm shooting my load going to the first three dates during my April break.  I think my wife will leave me if I try for the MD show as well.

I look forward to hearing all about this from those who buy the package.  Wish they would do that with each stop.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.
