So is anyone meeting up in Columbus? I'm staying at the Courtyard by Marriott downtown and will be there from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning. Would love to share a cocktail with the ppl of the forum!

I will also be staying at the Mariott downtown, but won't be there till Sunday around noon. We alway's go to Ted's and eat and have a drink before we go to the venue. It's kind of our tradition. It's across the street. Hope to see you there. I love this venue. That's why we drive 3 hours to get there.

You know of anywhere to catch some live music that Saturday? I've looked around a bit but haven't found anything to sweet.

I have seen a couple other groups doing beer swaps and was wondering if anyone was interested? I am coming from the NW indiana area so Leinenkugels or Goose Island are very tasty. Or could even get some from the local brewery (Lafayette Brew Co.) Let me know its my birthday weekend so lets have some fun!!

I'm down for the beer swapping! I should even have some home-brews to bring!!! :D :D Shall we start a list, so we have less/no duplicates, or should we just be surprised? The only thing is, if I drink before a show, I have to...let's just say I have a pretty small bladder. How are the bathrooms at this venue, anyone know? Long lines, long walk, etc? Otherwise, I may need to bring some "other" forms of enhancement.

Restroom right around the corner from the main stage with little or no waiting.

Critical hyperventilation everytime I daydream about the show.... which calculates roughly to every 1.33333333 seconds, repeating.

The love of my life, my old Buick, has just recently broken down to a point of no plausible return.... and I'm hoping, if I have a new car by showtime, to dress her up in my morning jacket. (shameless pun) Er... at least a sticker that may say so to the world! A decal of an unforgettable moment in history.

It would be our first showtrip together, Pitt. to Columbus for the Jacket... what a fine way to break the ice & acquaint us!! We'll just listen to them the whole way there and sing at the top of our lungs on the open road....

I realize I might be scaring readers with my vehicular love here, & there's a chance I may just be using a rental hahha so I'm gonna just finish by saying thanks again for the counter, and my heart can't wait to.... meet you on the otherrrr siiiiiiide [smiley=cool.gif]

Nice nice, another Pittsburgher makin' the trek! I sincerely, sincerely hope there will be at least someone taping. Would definitely pay for a copy & buy 'em some drinks to boot!

Does anyone know Promowest's videocam policy?? I'm considering taking my mom's semi-clunky vidcam to tape some memories to have and to hold!

The Dude, are you headin to the show pretty early Sunday? I'll be headin up as early as I can get myself movin... do you know anyone else from Pitt that's headin to the show? We should have a Pittsburgh mmj meetup or some-such.

Wonder if any of the Columbus head shops are open on Sunday... always a joy to check those out with Pitt being so anal about 'em.
