I've been scouring the web for a MMJ jazz fest 2010 poster and I found this cool one:

http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/122170

Expresso beans says mahg33ta posted the image. Sooo mahg33ta, do you (or anyone else) know where i can purchase a print of this?

Also, Yac, I know from past forum postings that you frequent expressobeans. Do you know if i could request this from the site?

Much thanks!

mahg33ta is the true expert on posters, but I've set up a profile on EB and you can set up a "in search of" list, as well as a collection list, etc.

Here's a link to all MMJ posters:

Thank you so much, Yac!!  :D  I really owe you one.

I tried to find the site too, but was much less successful. I just placed my order and it should be on the way soon. $20 for such a print is alright in my book!

I think this is my favorite from the tour...

E-R, I feel bad.  I was gonna show you another Jay Michael poster on eBay, Bonnaroo '03, and found the poster you were looking for for only $15.19 (plus $6.65 shipping).  I hope the other site had low shipping cost.  I note the one on eBay is signed; not sure if that's the case ordering direct (you would think so).

The Bonnaroo poster is offered on Jay Michael's site for $50, so this eBay listing is a good deal ($10.39), signed and from the same dealer:

Yac, thanks for the consideration but it's no big deal! As cool as it would be to have a signed copy, it's not an absolute must from this artist. I'm still on cloud nine from just finding a Jazz Fest print.

Also, I'm sure that Jay will do a Voodoo 2010 poster, so I'll be on the lookout for a signed copy of that one if the festival doesn't put out a $$-worthy print.

Thanks again!
P.S. If you're ever in New Orleans and you need anything, you know who to PM [smiley=beer.gif]

Hey, EasyRyder, did we meet at the Birmingham or Nashville shows?  I'm pretty sure we did, but can't recall exactly.

I couldn't make it to Nashville, but did you by any chance walk up to me while I was sitting in my seat (row O, still sitting google-eyed after the show) and ask if I wanted to sell my poster? If so, Yes!

Otherwise, I didn't make it to Nashville due to acadmeic obligations sadly. I think it was a forum member who talked to me at Birmingham, but not too sure if it was you or not.

I might've met you at Birmingham if you were selling extra tickets outside too.

I remember meeting a lot of folks from New Orleans, and talked to a few who were debating shows due to schoolwork.  I was wearing this custom t-shirt, so you might remember...

I met a lot of folks on the road that week.  Looking forward to meeting the Northeast crew from the forum this July/August after meeting over a dozen from the Southeast in April.

C'mon up for a couple of kick ass shows!  The Jacket are tearing it up in Vermont between two nights opening for Tom Petty.  Then, another mountain jam in western Massachusetts w/Grace Potter to warm us up.

Enjoy your poster.  I've got 6 waiting in tubes.  Spent so much money on MMJ stuff, can't afford to get 'em framed!  Also got a signed poster from a dude on eBay, under $20.  I'd like to get Jim to sign one of my Omnichords at Newport, but this will do for now...

PS its not this small  ;)

I know the feeling. I FINALLY got around to framing my myrtle beach '08 poster today. Looks like you have quite the collection though!

I wish I could scrape together enough quarters from under the couch to make it to a few Northeast shows, but it looks like I would only have enough for a parking spot.

Hope Petty is generous for y'all. I'm looking forward to some detailed show reviews...

JohnnyYac is so efficient that these questions get asked and answered before I even see them!

It is a cool poster - be forewarned though in case you didn't realize it that it is 13 x 19 (most MMJ posters are 18 x 24).

It does look like the poster on ebay is cheaper, but IMO always a better idea to buy from the artist website than on ebay.   Given a choice, even for more $$, I'd rather support the artist, ensure I'm getting a brand new poster, and have someone reachable if there's a problem.

Lastly, I love the Myrtle Beach poster.   It's way cool.

It's true. Mr. Yac has the fastest hands in the Northeast.

Thanks for the heads up about the poster size. I'll probably end up matting it with some funky drop after getting the artist to sign it since the studio isn't too far away.

And as you said, budding poster artists MUST need a break in the way of direct studio orders. I'm happy to have found it  :)
