QuoteI think what people are also forgetting is that Levon Helm, you know the guy in the Band...has fans...that buy tickets...he put out an email and Facebook adverstising another ramble..his fans buy tickets...200 people for Levon is not a lot....which is why they all sell out regardless of the opening band.

I'm don't know for sure but my guess is MMJ had nothing to do with ticket sales...if it was friends and family they probably just come with them and stand just like DBT's crew did..I doubt they get actual seats.

You are not understanding what we are stating...we are not concerned about the tickets. We are just curious why it hasn't been mentioned on the home page...THAT IS IT!

I understand perfectly what you are stating..but read what pagerage wrote above..that was what i'm addressing..the part about tickets going to family members or whatever.

where are people staying for this?  I stayed at an inn a few miles away last time but it seemed like there were places closer to stay.

aye carumba woodstock is soooo beautiful........... aye...... such a cute tiny little nook of a place.... Tinker Street...... gypsies..... and oh the catskillssssss...... wish I could make it to any of these but I think I've been rather neglectful of my "budget".... but then again I was going to camp it up in the adirondacks at least a few days before T5, so who knows what's a-brewin, it's a magic little place.....[smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

I have no clue what the pricing situations are, but there are at least a couple SWEET little bed & breakfasts right in the heart of Woodstock along Tinker St....

there s a HUGE BBQ place on the way if you're driving upstate, I can't remember the name but it's a big giant barn...it's called BBQ Barn or BIG BBQ or something simple like that. i'll try to look it up, it's no more than 3 miles or so outside of woodstock and some friends ate there and said it was great.
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

Quotei love levon & have been told that midnight ramble is a must - well worth the ticket price.  and now, mmj is guesting on my birthday!!!!

ticket purchased.  freaking out.  midnight ramble + T5 all 5 = kick ass way to start a new year on this earth  :D

Well, when I talked to management and told them I couldn't fucking believe that they weren't honoring your birthday in some sort of fashion, and how utterly appalled I was, they immediately made the call and set it up.  I mean, being such a big time fan and all the boys are happy to do it.  Just remember the little people out there.

HAPPY EFFING BIRTHDAY SIS!!!  :D

hey, thanks for setting this up!  you've cemented yourself in as my favorite sister.  for life.  don't tell the others tho  ;D

on a seperate note - i feel very lucky to have stumbled upon this thread before tix sold out.  i got one for myself & now i wish i'd bitten the bullet & bought 2 (or 3 even).  but, @ $150 a pop & my funds already stretched it just wasn't possible.

it is odd that the show still isn't listed on the homepage (and tbh, it makes me a little nervous).  i mean, they listed the TPATH opening gigs so, why not this one???  i mean, this is HUGE!  lot's of good theories posted already tho.  i'll ask jim on the 16th & report back  ;)

If anyone has any hotel suggestions let me know..I called the place I stayed for the DBT ramble and it was sold out...along with a bunch of other places..there has to be something else going on that weekend.

If anyone has an extra ticket to this, I'd be willing to trade some of the Terminal 5 tix

btw there is some Sheep and Wool festival in the area that weekend..which is why every hotel is booked....I called one hotel and the girl at the desk started laughing, she like "I know that date".

just stumbled across this:

it doesn't really shed any light as to why this show isn't posted in the "shows" section on here.  just thought it was a neat little write up & wanted to share
