QuoteCan anyone tell me why there is no poster for the 5/1 Merriweather show? That was one of the best shows I've ever been to. What's the deal? Even one of those generic posters they used for that run would be better than nothing.

There is one - it's of the "generic" type.   See the online store right here - available $24.95.

Ah, I see it now. Thanks. I didn't look past the first store page and somehow never saw it on eBay before.

I picked up one of the Skeletor Boot posters at the Greek in LA, but while we were waiting inside, the big screen showed a "limited edition" poster by Kii Arens put out by the Greek (NOT at regular merch table), which we promptly sent my bf over to purchase.  It looks a little something like this:

Pretty sweet.  you can see some others for the venue here: http://www.lalalandposters.com/
My jacket's gonna be cut slim and checked

vespa- thanks for the heads up on that one.   Completely off my radar and a great addition to the collection.  Just ordered!   That website says to try under a black light.   Way cool.

Look closely at the columns in that Chicago poster...  I missed it at first, myself.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I'm hoping dearly for some sort of bear and/or owl theme to the Philly poster.

Wow! I getting one of these too. Nice find, VC!

both of those LA Greek posters are fantastic!  in the RF poster i love the welcome mat & several pairs of black pants on the clothes line.
and the owl print.  that is just beautiful.

thanks again to vc's bf's eagle-eyes for spotting that announcement!  [smiley=beer.gif]

(crispy, just remebering i owe you a beer.  nyc, my friend!)

Ha! I wouldn't have let you buy me a beer on Sunday, I was getting close to falling over. I will claim my brewski in NYC!  ;D

QuoteNot to discredit the seller, but for anyone on the forum considering buying any of these gig posters, I would contact this person about his/her claim that they are not "numbered". The one I bought in Birmingham has a tiny 14/100 penciled onto the bottom left-hand corner if you're looking at the poster head-on.
I dunno if the seller just didn't notice the serial number or what, but it may be worth asking him/her about it.

funny you say this, because i just came to this thread to post that i think the seller is just constantly reprinting them. that or this seller somehow ended up with multiple copies of all of these posters

QuoteJust a heads up to anybody who missed out on the Nashville poster.  I did.  Got there early with my poster tube and everything.  They sold out with the quickness.  I may be wrong but I think there were 2 posters.  One was the orange one shown above (also sold in B'ham & Atlanta & possibly others w/ different colors) and the other (and cooler looking in my opinion) is this one by Nashvillian Mike Davis who works with the world famous Burlesque Design...

They just went up for sale at 2 pm CST. $20 + $5 shipping.  Not a bad price at all.  Get em while they're hot.

can't decide if i should buy this amazing poster or the bonnaroo amazing poster on this site. this was my first jacket show (i know, i'm a jacket baby!), but that was also my first roo. both of the posters are incredible. favorite band, or poster i think looks better? tough choice...

edit: i just got a huge paycheck.... i'm just gonna get both...

Does anyone have a Chicago print that they would be willing to part with? I didnt get one since I didnt want to carry it and it looked like rain. Thanks!

For those who didn't see this in the Champlain Valley thread, here's a good look at Friday night's poster for Essex Jct., VT, designed by Randy Fung:

You might try contacting the artist, Jason Brammer, and see if he has any for sale:
